First look of Santhanam's Dikkiloona out

Dikkiloona stars cricketer Habhajan Singh in an important role

Published: 27th May 2020

We previously reported that Santhanam had signed a film titled Dikkiloona with writer-turned-filmmaker Karthik Yogi, in which the actor would be playing the protagonist, antagonist, and the comedian. The first look of the film was released earlier today on Twitter. It features Santhanam in three avatars, with one of them holding the other two in neck locks. One character looks like a member of a royal family, another is in sportswear, while the third seems to be in a mechanic's attire. Behind the three characters, there is an apparatus that seems to be a time machine.

Also starring Anagha of Natpe Thunai fame and Shirin Kanchwala, known for Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja, as the female leads, Dikkiloona's cast includes cricketer Harbhajan Singh, Munishkanth, Anand Raj, Yogi Babu, Rajendran, and Nizhalgal Ravi.

Produced by Balloon-director KS Sinish, under his Soldiers' Factory banner, in collaboration with KJR Studios, the film will have music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Dikkiloona marks the composer's first collaboration with Santhanam after the comedian turned to playing lead roles.
