Arjun, Jiiva team up for Pa Vijay’s film

Produced by Makkal Arasan Pictures, this film will have Raashi Khanna playing the female lead

In a first, Arjun and Jiiva will be sharing screen space for Pa Vijay’s upcoming directorial, Medhavi. Produced by Makkal Arasan Pictures, this film will have Raashi Khanna playing the female lead. The announcement was made today by the makers.

Apart from the above-mentioned actors, Medhavi will also star Kaithi-fame Dheena, Radha Ravi, YG Mahendran, Azhagam Perumal Rohini, and Robo Shankar’s daughter, Priyanka, in important roles. While Yuvan Shankar Raja will be in charge of the music, Deepak Kumar Padhy (Dhilluku Dhuddu 2) will be cranking the camera for the film.

Medhavi is touted to be a horror-thriller, and the film is expected to go on floors after the coronavirus lockdown is lifted. 

Lyricist Pa Vijay turned director in 2015 with the horror-comedy Strawberry, in which he also played the lead. Vijay also acted and directed the 2018 film Arudhra.

Jiiva was last seen in Rathina Siva’s Seeru, while Raashi was part of Vijay Chander’s Sangatamizhan.
