Kavin, who shot to fame after his Bigg Boss Tamil 3 stint, has signed his first project after the show. Titled Lift, the film will see him team up with Bigil-fame Amritha Aiyer. The thriller will be helmed by Vineeth Varaprasad, an ad-film maker. The first look of the film was unveiled today by the team. The poster features both Kavin and Amritha inside a blood-spattered lift, with worried reactions.

Shooting for the film has been completed and post-production is currently underway. Lift will have music by Michael Britto, who has earlier composed for films like Sarabham and Koottalli. The cinematography is by Yuva S, who has earlier worked on films like Raja Ranguski.

Notably, this is Kavin’s first project after his Bigg Boss stint. The actor was earlier seen in Natpuna Ennanu Theriyuma last year.

Amritha, on the other hand, was recently seen in the Telugu film 30 Rojullo Preminchadam Ela. The Padaiveeran actor will also be seen in Red, the Telugu remake of Thadam, where she will share screen space with Ram Pothineni and Nivetha Pethuraj.
