Actor Naya Rivera, who is known for her role in TV series Glee, is reported missing after she went on a boat ride with her four-year-old son on Lake Piru, California. On Wednesday, her four-year-old son Josey was found sailing alone by another boat.

The boy has said that both of them went on a boat ride and his mom went for a swim and never returned.

A rescue operation involving drones, dive teams, and helicopters were conducted on Wednesday, and the authorities assured that they will resume at first light on Thursday.

Rivera reportedly rented a boat at 1 pm on Wednesday, as per Ventura County Sheriff's Department. The department also noted on Twitter that the actor is a possible drowning victim.

Rivera's son, who she shares with former husband and actor Ryan Dorsey, is reported to be unharmed.
