The film will be directed by Caarthick Raju and produced by Raj Shekar Varma under the Apple Tree Studios banner

Director Caarthick Raju of Thirudan Police fame has teamed up with Regina Cassandra for a female-centric film. It's now known that music director Sam CS has been roped in as the film's composer. Sam took to social media to confirm the news.

The Vikram Vedha composer said, "Happy to score music for this wonderful movie directed by Caarthick Raju next, a Tamil/Telugu bilingual film with the talented Regina Cassandra."

Interestingly, Sam had earlier composed for Regina's 2018 film Mr Chandramouli, and the two will once again work together in Kasada Thapara that has an ensemble cast and technicians.

Produced by Raj Shekar Varma under the Apple Tree Studios banner, the Caarthick Raju project is said to star Regina in the role of an astrologer and will also co-star Akshara Gowda. The film will have cinematography by PK Varma, who earlier worked with Caarthick in Kannaadi, which is still awaiting release.

Touted to be a mystery thriller, the title of the Regina-Caarthick film is expected to be announced soon.
