Published: 19th January 2020

We had recently reported that Dulquer Salmaan, who was last seen in the Hindi film, The Zoya Factor, will be sharing screen space with Kajal Aggarwal in an upcoming Tamil film

Now, we hear that dance choreographer Brindha Gopal, who has worked in many superhits, is all set to make her directorial debut with this film, which is said to be a new-age rom-com. Reports are also rife that Reliance Entertainment will be producing this project.

The trend of dance choreographers turning directors is not new to Indian cinema. Some of our top choreographers like Prabhudheva, Raghava Lawrence, Farah Khan have become directors and helmed superhit films with A-list stars in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.

An official announcement regarding the cast and crew of this Dulquer-Kajal film is expected soon.

Apart from this film, Dulquer has Vaan and Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal in Tamil, and Varane Aavashyamundu and Kurup in Malayalam, in various stages of production.

Kajal on the other hand as Shankar's Indian 2 and a web series directed by Venkat Prabhu in Tamil, and Mumbai Saga, alongside John Abraham and Emraan Hashmi, in Hindi.
