Director Pradeep Krishnamoorthy to make acting debut with Kabadadaari
Starring Sibiraj in the lead role, the film is a Tamil remake of Kannada film Kavaludaari
Pradeep Krishnamoorthy, the director of Sibiraj’s upcoming film Kabadadaari, is also playing a role in the Tamil remake of the Kannada thriller, Kavaludaari.
The director essays a menacing character in Kabadadaari as evidenced by a few stills that have been released online. The makers had earlier roped in an actor for the role but the person had to back out of the film for unknown reasons. Later, the film’s producer G Dhananjayan suggested that the director play the role himself and Pradeep seems to have accepted the idea.
Dhananjayan announced this on Twitter earlier today.
Welcome @Directorpradeep in a special appearance in #Kabadadaari with @Sibi_Sathyaraj ...Pradeep was very apt & menacing in that appearance. The shoot is on now. Racing towards finish pic.twitter.com/Mo98Vh8JLf

Pradeep Krishnamoorthy has earlier directed films like Shaitaan and Sathya. The latter, incidentally, also starred Sibiraj in the lead.
Sibiraj plays a traffic police officer in Kabadadaari, which also stars Nandita Swetha, Nasser, and Jayaprakash in important roles. Simon K King, the music director of Market Raja MBBS and Raja Bheema, has been roped in for the film.
