Will Kilikki from the Baahubali franchise become our very own Klingon?

Lyricist Madan Karky came up with a new language named Kiliki for SS Rajamouli's Baahubali back in 2015. The language, which was spoken by the Kaalakeya tribes in the film, will now get an official website to facilitate learning the language. Rajamouli will be officially launching the site, www.kiliki.in, on February 21, which happens to be the World Mother Language day.

In a statement, the makers tagged Kiliki as the "World's easiest language to learn". and shared that the site will introduce numerals and alphabets in the Kiliki language. The site will contain a 3000-word English-Kiliki-English dictionary, a tool to convert one’s name in Kiliki, videos to learn the language, three Kiliki fonts to install in desktops, games to help build the Kiliki vocabulary and a transliteration tool to convert to and from Kiliki to other Indian languages.

Moreover, the site also claims that the numerals of this language can be learned in under 2 minutes and that the entire alphabet can be learned in an hour. The team is planning to release new songs, comics, and grammar books soon.

Karky Research Foundation is also working towards creating job opportunities for those who learn Kiliki.

Starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah and a host of other actors, the Baahubali franchise, apart from two feature films, has spanned into a novel, an animated series, and a web-series which will be released in Netflix soon.
