Parasite makes history at Oscars 2020; the complete list of Academy Award winners

Bong Joon-ho's Parasite becomes the first non-English film to win the Best Picture Oscar

The 92nd Academy Awards will go down in history. In this year’s edition of Oscars, a non-English film, Parasite, won the Best Picture Award for the first time ever and surprised the world. Directed by Bong Joon-ho, the South Korean film turned out to be a blockbuster hit across the world. It was also a leading winner in the Golden Globe Awards, British Academy Film Awards, and Critics Choice Awards. 

Other than Parasite1917, Ford v Ferrari, and Joker also bagged multiple awards in this year's Oscars. Joaquin Phoenix won the Best Actor award for his incredible performance in Joker, and Renee Zellweger won the Best Actress award for the film Judy

Best Makeup & Hairstyling - Kazu Hiro, Anne Morgan and Vivian Baker (Bombshell)

Best Original Score - Hildur Guðnadóttir (Joker)

Best Actor - Joaquin Phoenix (Joker)

Best Actress - Renée Zellweger  (Judy)

Best Supporting Actress - Laura Dern (Marriage Story)

Best Supporting Actor - Brad Pitt (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood)

Best Live-Action Short Film -The Neighbors’ Window

Best Animated Short Film - Hair Love

Best Original Song - (I’m Gonna) Love Me Again – Rocketman

Best Costume Design - Jacqueline Durran (Little Women)

Best Production Design - Nancy Haigh, Barbara Ling (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood)

Best Film Editing - Andrew Buckland (Ford v Ferrari)

Best Animated Feature Film Toy Story 4

Best Documentary - Short Subject - Learning to Skateboard in a Warzone (If You’re a Girl)

Best Documentary Feature - American Factory

Best International Film - Parasite

Best Adapted Screenplay - Taika Waititi (Jojo Rabbit)

Best Original Screenplay - Bong Joon-ho (Parasite)
