Looks like Dhanush is on a signing spree. The latest announcement is that the actor, who was recently seen in Pattas, will be teaming up with Dhuruvangal Padhinaaru-fame Karthick Naren for a film, tentatively called D43. Sathya Jyothi films, which bankrolled Pattas, will be producing this film as well. The makers made the announcement yesterday via Twitter with a poster designed to look like a newspaper clipping. The poster also confirmed that the film will be an October 2020 release.

D43, which is touted to be a thriller that will have Dhanush playing a journalist, will have music by GV Prakash. The film marks the fifth collaboration between Dhanush and the composer after Polladhavan, Aadukalam, Mayakkam Enna, and last year's Asuran.

Dhanush's next release is the Karthik Subbaraj-directorial Suruli. The actor also has Karnan with Mari Selvaraj, a film produced by Sun Pictures, a film with Ratchasan-director Ramkumar, and one more with his brother, Selvaraghavan. Dhanush will also be reuniting with Anand L Rai for the Hindi film Atrangi Re, which co-starring Akshay Kumar and Sara Ali Khan.
