Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati have come together for the Telugu remake of the Malayalam actioner Ayyappanum Koshiyum. The film, which was launched on Monday, is being helmed by Saagar K Chandra and rumour has it that the Telugu remake has been titled Billa Ranga.

"Saagar is contemplating naming the characters of Pawan Kalyan and Rana as Billa and Ranga. He shared his idea with Pawan, who gave his go ahead to the director. Pawan is also okay with having Billa Ranga as the film's working title. However, nothing has been finalised yet and the team will decide on it soon after the film commences its first schedule in January," confides a source close to the development.

Ayyappanum Koshiyum revolves around an ego clash between an upright police officer and a retired havildar. Besides Telugu, the film is also being remade in Hindi and Tamil. While John Abraham is set to bankroll the Hindi version, Kathiresan of Fivestar Creations will produce the Tamil version.
