Pawan Kalyan, Rana Daggubati team up for Ayyappanum Koshiyum Telugu remake

Actor Pawan Kalyan's new film, tentatively called PSPK 30, was officially launched today. A remake of critically acclaimed Malayalam action thriller drama, Ayyappanum Koshiyum, the film will mark Pawan Kalyan's first collaboration with Rana Daggubati.

Directed by Saagar K Chandra and produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi, PSPK 30 will have music by SS Thaman.

Ayyappanum Koshiyum revolves around the battle of egos between a police officer named Ayyappan Nair, played by Biju Menon, and an ex-Havildar named Koshy Kurien, essayed by Prithviraj Sukumaran. While Pawan Kalyan will be seen in Biju Menon's role, Rana will reprise Prithviraj's character.

"The principal shooting will commence in January and both Pawan and Rana will join the sets in the first schedule," informs a source from the production house.

While the rest of the cast is yet to be finalised, rumours indicate that Sai Pallavi might most likely team up with Pawan Kalyan.

Pawan is on a signing spree. The actor has been juggling the shoot for Vakeel Saab and an untitled period drama directed by Krish. He also has a film each with directors Harish Shankar and Surender Reddy in the pipeline.

Rana, meanwhile, is awaiting the release of Aranya and Virata Parvam. He is also committed to team up with Gunasekhar for a mythological film titled Hiranyakashyap.
