Surender Reddy to direct Akhil Akkineni
The director will also be turning producer in association with director Krish for this untitled movie
After his recent historical action film set against the backdrop of Rayalaseema, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, director Surender Reddy has signed Akhil Akkineni for his next.
The director, known for delivering stylish action entertainers such as Kick, Oosaravelli and Race Gurram, will be turning producer in association with director Krish with this untitled movie.
"It is a slick action entertainer and will feature a new version of Akhil. The principal photography will commence by January-February once life gets back to normal. The director is currently in pre-production mode. The female lead and the remaining cast of the film will be finalised soon," reveals a source close to Akhil.
Up next, Akhil will be seen in director Bommarillu Bhaskar's romcom Most Eligible Bachelor. Also starring Pooja Hegde, the film is likely to hit the screens around Sankranthi.
