After battling a bout of illness, Irrfan Khan, acclaimed actor and Padmashri recipient, passed away earlier today. He was 53. 

This news came as a shock to everyone, and many of his colleagues from Bollywood are expressing their condolences on social media. 

Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan, who shared screen space with Irrfan in Shoojit Sircar's Piku, said:
