Eleven years after his directorial debut, Anand Ranga, the man behind the romantic entertainer Oy!, is back in the game with his next. The 45-year-old director will be making his digital streaming debut with an eight-episode web series tentatively titled Exchange of Fire.
"It is a cop-drama featuring an all new cast and crew. The shooting is currently underway in Hyderabad and I am really excited to be a part of this project," says Anand Ranga.
The web series also marks the debut of costume designer Sushmita Konidela as the producer. "My husband (Vishnu Prasad) and I have started a digitally-driven production house, Gold Box Entertainments. We have tied up with a popular digital streaming giant and the idea is to provide a platform for independent filmmakers and curate new content out of our passion for the entertainment industry," says Sushmita.
Sushmita's last outing was the Chiranjeevi-starrer Syeraa Narasimha Reddy, while Anand Ranga awaits the OTT release of his long-delayed production, DK Bose, featuring Sundeep Kishan in the lead.
