Rajavardan, Milana Nagaraj's FLY to get revived?

It looks like Rajavardan’s debut film, FLY, which also stars Milana Nagaraj in the lead, is set to be revived. The film, directed by Bharath and produced by Suresh Mohan, will apparently make its way to the silver screen with a different name.

According to a source, the film is now in the last stages of post-production. Music director Raghu Dixit is said to be reworking the film’s music and background score. An official announcement will be made soon by the production house about the new title and release date.

FLY, an adventure-laden love drama, was started in 2012. The formal announcement about the project was made in 2014, when the makers hosted a grand title launch with parachutes. The shot was captured by cinematographer Manohar Joshi, who had set up eight cameras for this particular sequence. The film, however, was delayed during the shooting. Six years on, it is now likely to finally see the light of the day.

Meanwhile, Milana Nagaraj’s latest hit, the Krishna-directorial Love Mocktail, which was doing well at the box office until the lockdown, has now caught the attention of viewers after being released on Amazon Prime Video.

Rajavardan too garnered attention among the audience post the announcement of  Bicchugatti: Chapter 1 - Dalavayi Dange. So this seems to be the best time for the makers of FLY to cash in on the actors’ recent popularity.

Rajavardan is actor Dingri Nagaraj’s son. Milana Nagaraj started her career with Nam Duniya Nam Style, and later worked in Darshan's Brindavana, Charlie, Jani, and Matte Udbhava.
