Ayushman Bhava not releasing on Kannada Rajyotsava; Shivanna and team request fans not to get disappointed

Shivarajkumar, director P Vasu, producer Yogi Dwarakish, and Anant Nag apologised to fans and audience for not being able to release Ayushman Bhava on Kannada Rajyotsava (tomorrow). The film was scheduled for release on November 1 but was pulled at the last minute due to certain technical issues.

In a media interaction, Shivanna said, "I request my fans to not get disappointed. We announced the date hoping everything will go as per schedule. However, the film involves a lot of CGI work and it has taken a little longer than we expected."

The actor clarified that, his injury notwithstanding, he made sure to complete the shoot as he didn't want the team to wait for long. "But, some issues are unavoidable. Ayushman Bhava has been certified with a U/A and we are sure to be out in the month of November. However this time, we will officially announce the release date only after we receive the certificate in hand," Shivanna said.

Producer Yogi mentioned that the censor board had requested the team to clarify on a couple of CG shots, which have since been provided. "We will be getting the certificate in hand anytime soon," said Yogi, who added that November 1 would have been the best date for the release, as it is a day that is celebrated like a festival. "I am aware that Shivanna fans were looking forward to celebrating the release. In fact, it was a special moment for a production house like Dwarakish Chitra to join hands with the Rajkumar family after 42 years. Unfortunately, we missed the date and we had no option but to postpone," said Yogi.

Senior actor Anant Nag too apologised and said that Kannada film lovers should not be disappointed.

Ayushman Bhava, featuring Rachita Ram as the female lead along with Nidhi Subbaiah, also has Suhasini as part of the cast. It has music by Gurukiran and PKH Doss is the film's DOP.
