Hero Teaser: Sivakarthikeyan turns Superhero, Arjun becomes his mentor 

Sivakarthikeyan's Hero teaser was launched this morning by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and it features the Remo actor as a superhero who goes by the title 'Hero'.

Abhay Deol, who is making his Tamil debut through the film, plays a corporate kingpin corrupting the education system, and Arjun who played the antagonist in director PS Mithran's Irumbuthirai features as Sivakarthikeyan's mentor, who devises plans for his alter ego. 

Kalyani Priyadarshan, who is also making her Tamil debut, is seen playing the role of a teacher. The promotional posters confirmed that the project will be a superhero film. Previous superhero films in Tamil include Mugamoodi and Kanthaswamy. 

Also starring, Naachiyaar-fame Ivana, Hero has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematography by Kaththi-fame George C Williams, and editing by Ruben. The film will be hitting screens on December 20. 

It may be recalled that Vijay Devarakonda's bilingual, co-starring Malavika Mohanan and directed by Anand Annamalai, has also been named Hero. There is no clarity yet on the ownership over the title.
