Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn have officially confirmed the fifth installment in their Golmaal franchise, titled Golmaal Five. The script is already locked and Rohit will start shooting the film after he completes his production ventures. With this entry, Golmaal becomes first Bollywood franchise to have a run of five films.

Ajay Devgn says, "Rohit and I have discussed and are committed to doing our next installment of Golmaal. The franchise is not only the longest-running one in Hindi cinema, it also happens to be one of my favourites because like we said in one of our earliest films in this series, it’s fun unlimited."

Rohit is presently busy shooting Sooryavanshi with Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif. Post that, he will be producing Farah Khan’s Satte Pe Satta remake and other projects helmed by his assistant directors.

Ajay Devgn’s upcoming release is Tanahji: The Unsung Warrior. He will also be seen in Maidaan and Bhuj: The Pride of India
