Malayalam producers association to ban Shane Nigam

It's been only a month since Veyil-producer Joby George and the film's leading man Shane Nigam shook hands and came to a truce after the Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes (AMMA) and the producers' association intervened. It seems all is not well, again, after Joby filed a complaint with the producers association citing Shane's inability to honour their agreement and co-operate with the makers of Veyil.

Joby has complained that Shane isn't consistently showing up on set and now the producers association have informed AMMA that they have decided to ban Shane from all future projects.

Last month, Shane had alleged that Joby made death threats against him after he altered his hairstyle to work in another movie. The threats, recorded by Shane, were circulated through social media groups.

Joby later called a press meet to clarify that Shane was constantly delaying the shoot as well as demanding an increase in remuneration and it was the reason why he got upset and called up the Kumbalangi Nights actor to demand a solution.

During the AMMA meeting, Shane was asked to complete Veyil first before moving on to other projects, following which the shoot was resumed recently. But, as per the latest reports, it has been put on hold once again after Shane didn't show any interest in keeping up with the schedules.
