Jai's upcoming film with veteran director SA Chandrasekar has now been titled Capmari. The film went on floors in the last week of May under the working title, Love Matter.

Capmari will apparently be a 'romantic entertainer that appeals to the youth of today'. The film, SAC's 70th as director and Jai's 25th as the lead, will star Yemaali-fame Athulya Ravi and Vaibhavi Shandilya of Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuththu fame as the female leads. Vaibhavi will be seen in the role of an NRI from the US.

SA Chandrasekhar last directed the 2015 film, Touring Talkies. On the acting front, he was last seen playing the lead role in Traffic Ramaswamy, directed by his erstwhile assistant Vicky.

Jai, meanwhile, is busy shooting for his superhero film, Breaking News, and Gopi Nainar’s upcoming project. The Raja Rani-actor, who recently made his Malayalam debut with Mammootty’s Madhura Raja, also has Venkat Prabhu’s Party in the pipeline.
