We had recently reported that Sivakarthikeyan's upcoming film with director Pandiraj, tentatively referred to as SK 16, will feature an ensemble star cast including the likes of Anu Emmanuel, Aishwarya Rajessh, Natarajan Subramaniam, Bharathiraja, Yogi Babu, Soori, Samuthirakani, and RK Suresh. It was also speculated that Anu and Aishwarya will be playing Sivakarthikeyan's romantic interest and sister, respectively, in the film.

Now, we hear that actor-cinematographer Natarajan Subramaniam, who was last seen in the 2017 drama, Richie, will be playing Aishwarya Rajessh's pair in the film.

SK16, produced by Sun Pictures, is expected to be a rural, family entertainer on the lines of the director's last film, Kadaikutty Singam, starring Karthi. SK 16 is currently in its first schedule of shoot.

Sivakarthikeyan had produced Aishwarya Rajessh's last film, Kanaa, where the former starred in an extended cameo appearance.
