Samantha Akkineni's Oh Baby, a remake of South Korean film Miss Granny is poised for a worldwide release on July 5. The comedy-drama revolves around a 70-year-old woman, played by Lakshmi, who finds herself in the body of her 20-year-old self, essayed by Samantha Akkineni, after clicking a picture in a mysterious studio. This is the first time that Samantha has joined hands with the veteran actor.
Directed by BV Nandini Reddy, Oh Baby also features Naga Shaurya, Rajendra Prasad, Rao Ramesh and Pragati in supporting roles. Adivi Sesh, last seen in Goodachari is playing a crucial cameo in the film, which has music by Mickey J Meyer.
The film's teaser was released recently. Samantha, has kick-started the year on a successful note with hits like Majili and Super Deluxe, and is eagerly awaiting Oh Baby's July release.
