Vijay's upcoming sports drama with director Atlee, Bigil is currently in its final leg of shoot, and we hear that the team is currently in Delhi to shoot some important football matches

Bigil has music by AR Rahman and the first song Singapenney from the movie was released yesterday. When the poster for Singapenney was released, the photo had Vijay flanked by 5 women footballers on either side, including Indhuja (who reportedly plays the captain), Reba Monica John,  and Amritha Iyer. Robo Shankar's daughter Indraja was also seen, but the 11th player was missing.

This raised some curiosity among the fans on who the mystery player will be. Now, it has been confirmed that Varsha Bollamma, who was last seen in 96, will be the eleventh player. The actor took to Twitter to reveal the same, and captioned it, "Yes, that’s me. The 11th player, Singappenney, Blessed."

Apart from Nayanthara, who plays the female lead, Jackie Shroff, Kathir, Vivekh, and Yogi Babu are also part of Bigil.

Produced by Archana Kalpathi, under the banner of AGS Entertainments, the film is slated for a Diwali release.
