Dhananjay to play the antagonist in Puneeth Rajkumar's Yuvaratna

Dhananjay, who initially established himself as a hero in Kannada cinema, shot to fame with his role as the antagonist Daali in Suri’s Tagaru. Now, the Bhairava Geetha actor is juggling between acting as a hero and playing characters with negative shades.

While he is going to be seen as Mitai Soori in Darshan-starrer Yajamana, it is said that Dhananjay will take up the challenge of playing a negative character opposite Power Star Puneeth Rajkumar in Yuvaratna. An official announcement is expected soon. 

The Santhosh Ananddram-directorial, made under Hombale Films, will go on floors on February 14 in Mangaluru. 

Meanwhile, Dhananjay will share antagonist duties with Jagapathi Babu in Dhruva Sarja’s Pogaru, which has Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead. The Nanda Kishore-directorial is currently being shot in Hyderabad.
