Spider-Man in Venom 2?

Sony Pictures is currently making Venom 2 starring Tom Hardy, and it is rumoured that Tom Holland will make a cameo as Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the superhero film.

Looks like it is an attempt of the studio in creating its own superhero universe, which is being referred to as Sony’s Marvel Universe (SMU). The studio holds the cinematic rights of many Marvel characters including Spider-Man and Venom.

Earlier, Sony Pictures decided to stop sharing the rights of Spider-Man with Disney Studios much to the disappointment of the fans across the world.

However, after Holland’s drunk conversation with Disney’s CEO Bob Iger, the two giants agreed to work together to extend the universe of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man

Directed by Andy Serkins, Venom 2 stars Woody Harrelson as the antagonist. He will play the role of a serial killer named Cletus Kasady, who turns into Carnage by becoming the host of an alien symbiote.

Michale Williams and Naomie Harris are other actors part of Venom 2
