Nagarjuna, who was last seen in Manmadhudu 2, is set for an encore in his new film titled Wild Dog. Last seen playing an encounter specialist in Ram Gopal Varma's Officer, Nagarjuna will be seen playing NIA officer Vijay Varma, referred to as Wild Dog by the press, in the film produced under Matinee Entertainments.
Ahishor Solomon, who earlier worked as an associate writer for Oopiri and Maharshi, will be making his debut as director with this cop drama.
The film's first look showing Nagarjuna at an encounter site was released by the makers today. It is learnt that the film is inspired by true events that have rocked the Telugu States recently.
