As Darshan's Kurukshetra is continuing its successful run at the box office, the Challenging Star will reportedly resume shooting for Roberrt from September 5. The team of the Tharun Sudhir-directorial completed the first schedule in 51 days and is now waiting to start the next schedule in Hyderabad. The makers are constructing a set at Ramoji Film City, where they will be shooting for 15 days.

This schedule will also include Mehreen Pirzada, who is set to make her Kannada debut through the family drama. She is likely to start shooting in the second week of September.

Roberrt also features Telugu actor Jagapathi Babu as the antagonist. This will be his third outing in Kannada, and first with Darshan. The film has dialogues by Chandramouli and Rajashekar KL, and cinematography by Sudhakar K Raj.

Meanwhile, Darshan has two songs left to complete his other film, Odeya. The actor is also getting ready to be a part of a historical film, Gandugali Madakari Nayaka, produced by Rockline Venkatesh and directed by Rajendra Singh Babu.
