Friends is hitting theatres for its 25th anniversary

Twelve iconic episodes are all set to be screened in over 1,000 theatres across the US

To mark its 25th anniversary, Friends, the popular NBC sitcom featuring Monica, Rachel, Phoebe, Chandler, Joey and Ross will be having a re-run in theatres. Over three nights — September 23, September 28 and October 2 — twelve iconic episodes are all set to be screened in over 1,000 theatres across the US.

Each night will consist of four episodes, newly remastered in 4K format from the original 35mm camera negative. These screenings also will feature exclusive interviews and never-before-seen content.

The list of episodes selected for telecast are:
September 23 - Pilot 'ReDo', followed by 'The One With The Black Out', 'The One With The Birth' and 'The One Where Ross Finds Out'.
September 28 - 'The One With The Prom Video', 'The One Where No One's Ready', 'The One With The Morning After' and 'The One With The Embryos'.
October 2 - 'The One With Chandler In A Box', 'The One With Ross' Wedding - Part 2', 'The One Where Everyone Finds Out' and 'The One Where Ross Got High'

The series, which enjoys a huge following, starred Courteney Cox, Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer.
