Vijay Sethupathi, who is currently in Australia to participate in the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne, has confirmed to the Press Trust of India that he will be sharing screen space with Aamir Khan in an upcoming project, details of which will be made public soon.

Reports of the duo collaborating started doing the rounds last month after the Dangal star paid a visit to the sets of Vijay Sethupathi's upcoming film, Sanga Thamizhan, directed by Vijay Chander, and co-starring Nivetha Pethuraj and Raashi Khanna.

VJS, who was awarded the Best Actor award for his role of a transgender person in Thiagarajan Kumaraja's Super Deluxe, also revealed that he is a huge fan of Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan.

"Amitabh Bachchan is my favourite actor and I have seen his several films, including 'Pink'," he said, adding that meeting Shah Rukh, who, incidentally, is the chief guest at IFFM, was a pleasure.

Super Deluxe, which was nominated in the best director and best film categories, won an honorary award 'Equality in Cinema' at the festival.

The Indian Film Festival of Melbourne will go on from today until August 15. The festival will screen over 60 films from across India and the subcontinent in over 22 languages.

Apart from Sanga Thamizhan, Vijay Sethupathi has MaamanidhanSye Raa Narasimhaa Reddy, and Ka Pae Ranasingam in the pipeline.
