Amar certified U/A, set for May release

The makers of Abhishek's debut film are contemplating choosing one of two possible dates in May

Abhishek, son of Ambareesh, is set to make his debut with Amar. The film, directed by Nagshekar, has cleared the censor board. Scheduled to hit theatres in May, it has got a U/A certificate.

This film, which is made under Sandesh Productions, features Tanya Hope as the female lead. The makers are contemplating between two days in May for the film's release, and an official confirmation will be made once the date is finalised.

Meanwhile, the team will be coming out with the film’s second song on April 20. The song, Sumane, is composed by the film's music director, Arjun Janya, and is sung by Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal.

With cinematography by Satya Hegde, the romantic drama, set against a biking backdrop, has been shot in record number of locations across Karnataka.
