Producer K Manju’s son, Shreyas Manju’s debut film, Paddehuli is turning into quite the starry affair, with some of the top actors of the Kannada industry being part of it. Guru Deshpande’s upcoming directorial, which already features Rakshit Shetty in an important role, now gets a boost with a special appearance from Puneeth Rajkumar.

The cameo role of the Power Star is said to be part of the climax, which, according to the director, will be the highlight of Paddehuli. The actor’s presence was kept a secret by the team, and has been revealed now close to the film's release, which is slated for April 19. Though the director is not ready to give away too many details on Puneeth’s role, we hear that the actor will be playing himself in the film.

This film also brings together Ravichandran and Sudharani on the silverscreen 25 years after Mane Devaru. They play the Shreyas' parents in the film.

Paddehuli’s trailer was launched by Darshan, and the audio launch was graced by Sudeep, along with actors Ganesh and Sriimurali.

The film has Shreyas playing the role of Sampath, a musician and a diehard fan of legendary actor, Vishnuvardhan. The family entertainer also stars Nishvika Naidu in the lead, and features Chikkanna and Vinayak Joshi in the cast.

This musical has 10 different songs composed by Ajaneesh Loknath in a variety of genres. He has also provided the background score. With just 10 days left for the film’s release, the team is busy readying the trailer, which will be released on PRK Audio Channel on Wednesday.
