The latest entrant into the Kannada film industry from the Rajkumar clan, Dheeran Rajkumar, is all set to make his debut with Daari Tappida Maga. Made under Jayanna Combines, the film is directed by Anil Kumar, and it features Manvitha Kamath as the female lead. The latest news is that the talkie portions of the film have been wrapped up, alongside the completion of shooting for three songs. The only portions now left to be shot are a fight sequence and a special song, which are still being planned.

In the film stills that Cinema Express got hold of, Dheeren sports a rugged look with a beard. The film, which bears the same title as his grandfather’s film from 1975, apparently required him to undergo a physical transformation.

Arjun Janya has taken up the film's musical duties, and Shivu the camerawork. Aside from Dheeran and Manvitha, the cast includes Charan Raj, Sadhu Kokila, Avinash and Chikkanna.
