Prajwal Devaraj to star in Khadar Kumar's directorial debut

Prajwal Devaraj, who is working on multiple projects like Inspector Vikram, Arjun Gowda, Gentleman, a film with PC Shekhar, and one with director Ram Narayan, has signed a new film with Khadar Kumar. The film will be bankrolled by Disha Entertainments, the production house behind D/o Parvathamma.

Khadar Kumar is a scriptwriter, who has also worked as an associate director in films like Shravani Subramanya and Shivalinga. He was supposed to make his directorial debut with a film titled Khadar, starring Shivarajkumar, but the project failed to take off due to unknown reasons.

The upcoming yet-to-be-titled Prajwal-starrer will go on floors fin October. It is billed as a commercial entertainer, which will have a 'blend of action, love and sentiment'. The makers are currently scouting for locations, following which they will finalise the remaining cast and crew.
