New single Vinnil Vinmeen from Suriya's Kaappaan is out 

The third single from Kaappaan, Vinnil Vinmeen, the multi-starrer directed by KV Anand, Siriki, is out. The music is composed by Harris Jayaraj.

Vinnil Vinmeen - a soulful melody stressing on our nation's unity in diversity - has been sung by Harris Jayaraj's daughter, Nikhita Harris. The lyrics have been written by Vairamuthu.

The young girl performed the song live in the film's audio launch to big applause from the crowd. Superstar Rajinikanth and director Shankar were the chief guests in the audio launch.

Interestingly, Nikhita will also be seen in a cameo appearance in the film. 

Suriya shares screen space with Mohanlal for the first time in Kaappaan, which has the actors play a special agent and the Prime Minister of India, respectively.

Produced by Lyca Productions, Kaappaan has an ensemble cast that includes the likes of Arya, Boman Irani, and Samuthirakani. Sayyeshaa plays the female lead.

With cinematography by Abhinandan Ramanujam, Kaappaan is scheduled for release on Independence Day.
