Trevor Noah cracked the biggest Oscar joke, that everyone missed

The award for the biggest Oscar joke should undoubtedly be given to Trevor Noah. The Daily Show host introduced the Best Picture nominee Black Panther by blending witty humour and politics. Poking fun at the people who think the fictional country Wakanda is real, the African-born comedian, slipped in a joke that only people who knew the African language of Xhosa were able to understand.

He said, "Growing up as a young boy in Wakanda, I would see T'Challa flying over our village, and he would remind me of a great Xhosa phrase, 'Abelungu abazi uba ndiyaxoka' -- which means, 'In times like these, we are stronger when we fight together than when we try to fight apart.'" Those who understand the Xhosa language had hearty laugh on hearing this, as the statement actually translated to: "White people don't know I'm lying."

It may be noted that the comedian himself made a silent cameo in the film as the voice of the Wakandan AI.

People on the Internet are raving about Noah's sense of humour and spontaneity.

Here are few reactions of the people from all over the world.
