Richa Chadha begins shooting for Panga in Bhopal

Last seen in Love Sonia, Richa Chadha started shooting for Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari's Panga, yesterday in Bhopal. The film, based on kabaddi, marks the first association of the actor with the Bareilly Ki Barfi-director and eighth with Pankaj Tripathi, with whom she has worked in films like Gangs of Wasseypur, Masaan and the upcoming Shakeela biopic. 

About the film, Richa says, "I'm excited to join the team. Panga is a very exciting project for me as it's unlike anything I have done before. I have always wanted to be a part of a sports film." 

Kangana Ranaut, who plays the lead in the film, began shooting for it in the first week of November. Panga also stars Jassie Gill and Neena Gupta in important roles.
