Fresh from the success of Orange, Ganesh has already begun shooting for his next project. It can be noted that the actor had previously mentioned that Vijay Nagendra’s Geetha is special to him in terms of the story.
The first schedule began yesterday in Kolkata, and CE got exclusive pictures from the film’s sets, which shows Ganesh wearing his signature style shirt, with the logo of the Karnataka flag. Also seen with him is Parvathy Arun, one of the three heroines of Geetha. The film is jointly produced under the Ganesh's home banner, Golden movies, and Syed Salaam. Prayaga Martin will be making her Kannada debut through Geetha, and she will be joining the sets soon. The film also stars Shanvi Srivastava as one of the female leads.

After the Kolkata schedule, the crew will travel to Manali, before returning to Bengaluru on December 26. Bearing the title of Shankar Nag’s classic film, Geetha has music by V Harikrishna and cinematography by Sreesha Kuduvalli.
The film marks the directorial debut of Vijay Nagendra, who has previously worked as an assistant in hit films like Mr and Mrs Ramachari and Raajakumara. Apart from the leads, the makers have also roped in an interesting star cast comprising of actors like Devaraj, Achyuth Kumar, Rangayana Raghu and Sudharani.
