Sunil Kumar Desai to direct Udhgarsha

The celebrated filmmaker is working on the action-thriller, which will be shot in Kannada and Telugu, and later dubbed into Tamil and Malayalam

Anticipation is high for the upcoming thriller, Udhgarsha, since the film is the work of the master craftsman of Kannada industry, Sunil Kumar Desai. The director, who has made films like Tarka, Uthkarsha, Nishkarsha, Sangarsha, Marma, and Kshana Khsana, is working on the multilingual film, which is shot in Kannada and Telugu. The universal subject will be later dubbed into Tamil and Malayalam.

With the tagline 'Battle at its peak', Udhgarsha is touted to be an action-thriller with a diverse cast that includes, Thakur Anoop Singh of Singham 3 fame, Kabali-fame Sai Dhanshika, and Prabhakar, who shot into limelight with Baahubali. The film also has stars Tanya Hope, Shraddha Das, Kishore, and Vamsi Krishna, with Harshika Poonacha making a guest appearance.

Made under the banner, D-Creations, the film has music by Bollywood composer, Sanjay Chowdary. While Kemparaju is the film's editor, Ravi Varma will coreograph the stunts, and Vishnu Vardhan and P Rajan will wield the camera. Extensively shot in and around Hyderabad, Madikeri, Kerala and Bengaluru, Udhgarsha is now in the post production stage.
