Director SS Rajamouli's son Karthikeya, who earlier worked as the second unit director and the line producer for the Baahubali series, has turned producer with Aakashavani. The film will mark the debut of the Magadheera director's former assistant, Ashwin Gangaraju, as the director. It will have music by renowned music composer MM Keeravani's older son, Kaala Bhairava.
National Award-winning editor, Sreekar Prasad, has been roped in as the editor for the period film, while Sai Madhav Burra will pen the dialogues. The film's concept poster was unveiled by Rajamouli on Twitter.
Aakashavani will go on floors in January.
