Hoping my single comes in handy as a pitch to producers

says Priiyanka Thimmesh, while talking about her first music album, Kanseleva Mayavi

Priiyanka Thimmesh, who is fresh from the fame of Bigg Boss Season 8, is awaiting the release of her first Kannada video-album. Titled Kanseleva Mayavi, the track will have its teaser released tomorrow.

The romantic video-album, starring Priyanka and Darshith, has music by Sam CS, lyrics by Suprith Sharma S, vocals by Arfaz Ullal, choreography by Dileep K Gowda, and cinematography by Ravindranath T. 

Priiyanka, who is making her debut in the single, says, “The talented team that I worked with for the music album is planning to come up with a film next. And so, we pitched this as a small show-teel of our skills and also, build some professional rapport in the processs.This song was shot during the first lockdown when I got all of my friends together for making the album the way I wanted to."|

Priyanka, meanwhile, is awaiting  the release of Arjun Gowda, a commercial entertainer, produced by late Ramu and directed by Lucky Shankar. The film has her sharing screen space with Prajwal Devaraj. The actor has also recently completed shooting her parts for Sugarless, the directorial debut of Shashidhar KM. featuring Prithvi Ambar in the lead.

Ask about her next, and Priyanka reveals that in all likelihood, she might team up again with the production house of Sugarless. “We are still in the discussion stage, and nothing has been finalised yet. Meanwhile, there are a couple of directors who have narated me script ideas,” she says.

Priyanka also says that short stint at the Bigg Boss house helped in coming to terms with her introverted demons. "Many have since then commented that my positivity and integrity are two things that put me ahead of the other participants, And this feedback almost always lights me up," she signs off
