The day starts off with some acrobatics with Kavin teaching the housemates to jump over an imaginary rope.
The level of understanding between these two only keeps growing. They talk about how foolish it is to seek permission from housemates before nominating them for eviction.
Sandy and Kavin never let the housemates feel bored when they're not on a task. They impersonate STR and entertain the housemates.
In a task, the housemates are asked to pass paper balls from one housemate to other housemate using pad and drop them in a basket.
On completion of the task, they are promised a gift. The gift looks huge. A new refrigerator? Maybe?
And out she pops. As we saw in the promo, Kasturi Shankar is the new wild-card entrant.
She meets and greets the other housemates. There's lot of friendly banter. The introduction goes all smooth. Will the rest of her stay remain the same?
Her first mission in the house seems to be to make Losliya stand still while she speaks. She literally trails her around to convince her to stand still. Early signs of the fights to come?
Kasturi tells Kavin that she wants to manage her temper and hopes that her stay in the house will help. Oh, the irony..
Bigg Boss instructs the housemates to choose the best performers in the tasks and the all-rounder of the week. Sandy and Cheran as the best performers and Losliya are chosen and are up for captaincy.
Bigg Boss grants Kasturi the power to choose the best choice for captaincy. She's impressed with all three and names all of them suitable for captaincy.
Kasturi announces that there's no jail time for anyone. But instead, he is given the choice to punish 5 housemates of her choice. Kasturi picks Sherin, Kavin, Madhumitha, Sakshi and Abhirami.
These punishments have a decent mix of fun to them. The 5 housemates take it up sportively.
They have one final chat before going to be bed. As far as we've seen, Kasturi has been carrying a bossy attitude. We'll have to wait and see how it all pans out.
