12 Years of Breaking Bad: Jesse Pinkman's best moments from the cult TV series- A trip down the memory lane
From being a drug junkie to becoming the most wanted person of Albuquerque, Jesse Pinkman has come a long way. As Breaking Bad completes 12 years, here’s a look at best moments of BB
Science Bi***!: Pinkman, going by the name Cap’n Cook, was minding his own business making some shoddy meth with his signature ingredient, chili pepper. Enter Walter White, everything goes haywire.
Battered Pinkman: When Hank beats Jesse to within an inch of his life, Walter confronts Pinkman at the hospital to not press charges against his brother-in-law. Jesse's reply: I am tuning you down!
Shooting Gale: One of the brilliant performances by Aaron Paul where he brings out Jesse’s unwillingness to shoot Gale to save his own life, but does it anyway.
About time: Suffering from the guilt of killing Gale, Pinkman breaks down at a support group meeting, and questions the whole concept of self-acceptance.
I loved her: Jesse finally found love through his house owner’s daughter Jane, who also happens to be a druggie. But it quickly ends as she dies of drug overdoes.
Tucker’s hole: If Walter White knows chemistry; Jess Pinkman knows meth heads. It's a brilliant scene where he distracts Tucker by manipulating him to dig the hole.
Magnets! Walter White is the genius but Jesse also has a great knack for coming up with brilliant ideas. To use magnets and destroy the evidence in Gus Frang’s computer was suggested by Jesse
Burn it: When Jesse learns the truth about the ricin, he attempts to burn down Walter’s house only to be stopped by Hank. It breaks your heart to see Jesse crying, “He can’t keep getting away.'
The box: Another heartbreaking scene is when Vince Gilligan shows a warm sequence of Jesse Pinkman making a small wooden chest - something he loves to do - only to reveal that it is all just a dream
Why don’t you do it yourself? The gas lighting and manipulation finally stops and Jesse finally says ‘no’ to Walter White in the last scene of the two characters together.
