On Friday, SonyLiv unveiled the first teaser of their upcoming original film Parivarik Manuranjan, also announcing the release window. Starring Aditi Rao Hydari and Pankaj Tripathi in the lead roles, the film is set for premiere in November.
Aditi plays Helen, a property manager who arrives one day to manage and housekeep the huge but lonely ancestral mansion owned by Ranjan Dubey (Pankaj Dubey). Little does she know that Ranjan is the only person living there, and is unmarried. Against all odds, sparks fly between Ranjan and Helen who slowly find themselves falling for each in that quiet sleepy town, raising many eyebrows.
Varun V Sharma, known for directing Bunty Aur Babli 2 (2021), helms direction for the promisingly gentle and light-hearted rom-com. The supporting cast includes Brijendra Kala. More details about the primary cast and crew are yet to be announced.
Vinod Bhanushali, Alicia Zafar, Himanshu Kishan Mehra, and Kamlesh Bhanushali have produced Parivarik Manuranjan. Vinod Bhanushali and Ali Abbas Zafar are presenters. The film, that marks the start of a strategic partnership between Bhanushali Studios Limited and director Ali Abbas Zafar’s AAZ Films, was officially announced in June 2025.
This is the first time Aditi Rao Hydari and Pankaj Tripathi will be seen sharing screen together. Aditi was recently seen in Lust Stories 3, while Pankaj’s last appearance was in Ohh My Dog.
Talking about onboarding the film, Aditi had said earlier, “When I read the script, I smiled through it. For me it’s rare to come across a story in this universe. The situational comedy, the twists and the unexpected turns and more importantly the warmth and simplicity that is the heart of the story. Getting to work with Pankaj sir is going to be a treat. He is a master of this genre, and for me this is going to be a big learning experience and a joy."
