

On Thursday, Prime Video announced it's exciting new slate for 2026 at a grand ceremony held in Mumbai. Karan Johar was in particularly jubilant spirits as the host, as he interacted with the lead cast and crew of all the projects that were officially announced at the event.
Here is a list of all the films and shows that were announced as part of Prime Video 2026 slate:
New Films:
1. Naagzilla
The much anticipated Kartik Aaryan starrer fantasy-drama was officially announced today. Produced by Dharma Productions and Mahaveer Jain Films, the film tells the story of an 'ichhadhaari' snake, among other similar crestures, that lives a regular life among humans. However, chaos erupts when a power-hungry villain decides to bay for their blood.
Naagzilla will exclusively premiere on Prime Video after its theatrical release.
2. Khoya Mahal
Konkana Sen Sharma dabbles in the comedy genre this time with Khoya Hotel, a quirky film starring Aditi Rao Hydari and Barun Sobti as step-siblings who operate a mismanaged hotel.
3. Don't Be Shy
Alia Bhatt and Shaheen Bhatt are coming up with a vibrant and youthful story as their maiden collaboration with Prime Video under Eternal Sunshine Productions.
The lead cast was still not announced at the event. However, Alia confirmed that the four lead cast members are all newcomers, and outsiders.
4. Vvan: Force of the Forest
Ekta Kapoor and TVF join hands for their maiden film collaboration, which stars Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia in the lead and promises to be a big-scale fantastical experience. Deepak Kumar Mishra is the director for Vvan, which also features Maniesh Paul and Shweta Tripathi in primary cast.
The film will be available for streaming on Prime Video post its theatrical release.
5. System
Headlined by Sonakshi Sinha and Jyotika, System promises to be a gripping courtroom drama. Ashwini Iyer Tiwari helms direction for the film.
In System, a privileged public prosecutor, meets a courtroom stenographer from a humble background, as their lives are thrown into upheaval where power defines truth, blurring the system and raising a question of what justice truly means to them.
6. Mess
Pratik Gandhi headlines the wacky comedy directed by Rajesh A Krishnan, where he plays a finicky home owner whose obsession with cleanliness and order doesn't stop even when he is faced with home invaders. The comedy also stars Gajraj Rao, Anurag Thakur and Ranvir Shorey.
7. Storm
Starring notable names like Parvathy, Alaya F, Saba Azad, Srishti Srivastava and Ashish Vidyarthi, Storm promises to be a haunting thriller set in Mumbai. The series is directed by Ajitpal Singh, who is known for his OTT series Tabbad. According to Prime Video, the film deals with the lives of five women, each nursing wounds, dreams, and deadly secrets, who are drawn into a web of deception when a sustainable housing project unravels into a deadly scam.'
8. Mirzapur - The Movie
The much-anticipated movie version of acclaimed series Mirzapur too was announced as part of 2026 slate. The film will be exclusively streaming on Prime Video, post its theatrical release on September 4. Gurmmeet Singh is the director, while Puneet Krishna serves as the script-writer.
Mirzapur - The Movie will have a massive ensemble cast with actors like Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, Divyenndu, Jitendra Kumar, Ravi Kishan, Abhishek Banerjee, Rasika Duggal, Shweta Tripathi, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Harshita Gaur, Sushant Singh, Mohit Malik, Sheeba Chadha, Rajesh Tailang, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, and Sonal Chauhan reprising their role.
9. Raftaar
The Rajkummar Rao-Keerthy Suresh starrer, revolving around an earnest teacher and an ambitious entrepreneur who become co-founders to chase a dream of affordable education until ambition blurs their ethics, will be streaming on Prime Video exclusively post its theatrical release.
10. Nayyi Naveli
Yami Gautam headlines the small-town drama bankrolled by Aanand L Rai and Himanshu Sharma, where she plays a picture-perfect bride who transforms a messy Meerut household into a slice of heaven…until her brother-in-law finds something suspicious underneath the magical transformation.
11. Dilkashi
The Hansal Mehta production promises to be a unique love triangle where two lovers, united by passion bu torn apart by volatility and an obsessive third lover, enter a seductive game of love, betrayal, fantasy, and dangerously irreversible second chances.
Abhay Verma and Zahan Kapoor are part of the lead cast.
12. Kuku Ki Kundli
Starring Bhuvan Bam and Wamiqa Gabbi in the lead, the film tells the story of a hopeless romantic who finds his perfect romance turned upside down when a horoscope complication leads to new chaos and confusion, paving way for a journey that also tests his courage and belief in destiny.
13. Vibe
In a fascinating casting coup, Preity Zinta and Kunal Kemmu will be seen sharing screen in this chaotic comedy. Kunal, who also helms direction for the project, will be seen as a clueless slacker while Sparsh Shrivastav plays his stern best friend. The two accidentally stumble into a terrorist plot, and are befuddled to see their nation's fate depend on their chaotic partnership.
New shows:
1. Raakh
Ali Fazal and Sonali Bendre headlined this gritty crime-drama that’s based on true events, and is set against a period backdrop. Prosit Roy is the director for the series which also features Aamir Bakshi, Dibyendu Bhattacharya and Rakesh Bedi in lead cast.
2. Matka King
The much-delayed period crime-drama starring Vijay Varma in the titular role was finally announced today as part of this year’s release slate. Created by Nagraj Manjule and Abhay Koranne, the show boasts of a massive cast with names like Gulshan Gorver, Kritika Kamra, Sai Tamhankar, and Siddharth Jadhav on board.
3. Teen Kauwe
Priyanka Ghose helms direction for this high-octane and fast-paced action thriller which has shades of patriotism as well, and is headlined by notable actors like Fatima Sana Sheikh, Bobby Deol, Sidhant Gupta, Pavail Gupta and Ronit Roy. Abbas Tyrewala is the co-creator for the action-thriller series, in association with Priyanka. Meanwhile, Sidharth Roy Kapur is the producer.
4. Adarsh Baal Vidyalaya
Kay Kay Menon plays the somewhat inefficient and under-qualified incharge of a school that’s far too unorganised in nature, ironically named Adarsh Baal Vidyalaya. Abhimanyu Singh, Archana Puran Singh, Deven Bhojani and Naveen Kasturia are the other lead actors of the show that’s created by Sameer Saxena and Biswapati Sarkar.
5. Carnaame - Badla Gear Palti Kismat
With Sikander Kher and Sai Tamhankar in prominent roles, the upcoming crime-caper revolves around a bunch of hot-headed car theft kingpins — played by Purav Jha, Naman Jain, Saaquib Nazar, Prayrak Mehta and Nazrul Ayubi — who find themselves in an endless adventure through a series of confrontations with the law.
6. Lukkhe
Popular rapper King makes his OTT debut with this intense crime-thriller which explores a dark, haunting world of drugs, fame, rapping and crime. Raashi Khanna, Palak Tiwari, and Shivankit Parihar will be seen in prominent roles as well.
7. Tax Department Money
In this crime thriller, a newly minted Revenue Services officer (Aditya Rawal) takes on the most powerful white-collar criminal (Ravi Kishen) in Agra, only to realize that winning is taxable.
Samyak Singh and Prashant Raj are the creators of the series, while Saurabh Bhave helms direction. Actors like Barkha Singh, Ashwini Bhave, Rajesh Kumar and Prateik Pachori will be seen in key role as well.
8. Rafoo
Maniesh Paul and Angira Dhar headline the light-hearted series where a struggling singer (Maniesh) is stuck sharing his place with his ex-mother-in-law while his successful ex-wife (Angira) lives upstairs with her new boyfriend. "Every awkward encounter proves they may not be over each other—but is love worth surviving this nightmare?," the logline reads.
Returning shows:
1. Dahaad - Season 2
The much-acclaimed Sonakshi Sinha starrer cop-drama returns for another season. Direcred by Reema Kagti and Ruchika Oberoi, the new season will have Sub-Inspector Anjali Meghwal (Sonakshi) pulled down into a serial-killer hunt - after a twelve-year-old girl goes missing in a quiet town - as she investigates how power, patriarchy, and privilege can fuel horrifying violence.
2. Call Me Bae - Season 2
Ananya Pandey returns as Bae in season 2. However, this time, the drama in her personal life is even messier as Bae is caught between her returning ex-husband and her distractingly hot boss. And just when Bae thought her sisterhood was solid, a “Nayi Behen” enters, and the behencode starts to crack. And all this while Bae's own news show is finally on air.
