

Sadie Sandler's Devon struggles to set boundaries while sharing a room with Chloe East's Celeste in the Roommates trailer. The Netflix film, helmed by Chandler Levack, is all set to premiere on the streamer on April 17.
The trailer shows Devon as a naive girl who meets a confident Celeste and asks her to be her roommate. roommate. Only when they start sharing the space does Devon realise that Celeste has a problem with respecting boundaries. As she's unable to directly confront her, the two get into passive aggression to vent out their feelings.
Netflix's official description of the film reads, "When a hopeful, naive college freshman, Devon, asks the cool and confident Celeste to be her roommate, a blossoming friendship spirals into a war of passive aggression." The film is written by Jimmy Fowlie and Ceara O'Sullivan.
Roommates also stars Sarah Sherman, Natasha Lyonne, Nick Kroll, Billy Bryk, Ivy Wolk, Storm Reid, Janeane Garofalo, Carol Kane, Josh Segarra, Bailey Madison, Martin Herlihy and Sadie's father, Adam Sandler. Adam Sandler is also the producer of the film and has backed it under his Happy Madison Productions banner alongside Allen Covert's and Brian Kavanaugh-Jones' Range Media Partners.
