HBO Max took to social media to announce some new additions to the cast of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms' second season. Lucy Boynton, Babou Ceesay, and Peter Mullan are joining the cast of the upcoming season.
The series is created by George RR Martin and Ira Parker, who have adapted Martin's Tales of Dunk and Egg for the series. Parker also serves as the showrunner. Martin and Parker serve as executive producers. The show premiered on JioHotstar on January 19 and completed airing its first season on February 22.
The first season of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms focuses on Ser Duncan the Tall who takes on a young squire, Egg, as the duo traverse through Westeros. While the first season is an adaptation of The Hedge Knight, the second season will follow the storyline of The Sworn Sword.
Boynton will play the role of Lady Rohane, with Ceesay as Ser Bennis and Mullan as Ser Eustace Osgrey.
The cast for the first season included Peter Claffey as Ser Duncan “Dunk” the Tall, Dexter Sol Ansell as Aegon "Egg" Targaryen V, Daniel Ings as Ser Lyonel Baratheon, Bertie Carvel as Baelor Targaryen, Danny Webb as Ser Arlan of Pennytree, Sam Spruell as Maekar Targaryen, Shaun Thomas as Raymun Fossoway, Finn Bennett as Aerion Targaryen, Edward Ashley as Ser Steffon Fossoway, Tanzyn Crawford as Tanselle, Henry Ashton as Daeron Targaryen.
