Yogi Babu and Senthil's latest film Kuzhanthaigal Munnetra Kazhagam now has an OTT premiere. Aha Tamil took to their social media handles to share that the comedy drama which has a story revolving around the power of politics in the hands of youngsters is now streaming on their platform. The film was released in January 27 to mostly negative reviews from audience and critics.
The film is directed by the late filmmaker Shankar Dayal. The director passed away before the film's release due to a heart ailment.
Apart from Senthil and Yogi Babu, the film also stars Lizzie Antony, Saravanan, Subbu Panchu, Chitra Lakshmanan, and the late Mayilsamy.
Our CE review read, "There is always a sense of amateurishness in Kuzhanthaigal Munnetra Kazhagam. Just because it is a film about school politics, does not mean that it must dumb itself down. Unfortunately, there is little in the performances to redeem the film. Yogi Babu and Senthil have mere one-note roles."
Shankar Dayal made his directorial debut with the Karthi-starrer Saguni in 2012. He made a return to Tamil cinema after many years. Shankar also produced the film with Arunkumar Sammantham under the Meenakshi Amman Movies banner.
On the technical front, the film has cinematography by J Laxman Kumar (Poda Podi) and editing by Richard Kevin (Vikram Vedha). The band Shankar's Saadhaga Paravaigal composed the music for the film.
