Netflix unveiled the trailer for their upcoming animated epic fantasy-adventure series, Wolf King, on Thursday. The series is based on the Wereworld novels by Curtis Jobling.
Set in a realm dominated by the ruthless Lionlords, Wolf King will tell the story of 16-year-old Drew Ferran as he discovers that he's the last living heir of a legendary werewolf bloodline. He is destined to reclaim the throne and overthrow the tyrannical rulers to become the rightful Wolf King.
Tom Brass is the director of Wolf King. The animation for the series has been handled by Jellyfish Pictures and Assemblage Entertainment. The series was first announced in early June 2022, initially bearing the same title as the novel series. The author of the novels, Curtis Jobling, is the producer of the series along with Barry Quinn, under the Lime Pictures banner. Angelo Abela and Tim Compton serve as executive producers.
Wolf King is all set to premiere on Netflix on March 20.
