The trailer for Zack Snyder's upcoming adult animated series, Twilight of the Gods, was unveiled by Netflix on Thursday. Inspired by Norse mythology, Twilight of the Gods features gods including Thor, Odin, and Loki.
The trailer shows a mortal Sigrid defying the norms of gods by marrying Leif. Thor then destroys her world, for which she sides with Loki and starts a war against the God of Thunder.
Snyder has co-created the show with Jay Oliva and Eric Carrasco. Sylvia Hoeks, Stuart Martin, Rahul Kohli, Paterson Joseph, Jamie Clayton, Pilou Asbæk, Birgitte Hjort Sørensen, Kristofer Hivju, Thea Sofie Loch Næss, John Noble, and Peter Stormare round out the voice cast of the upcoming animated series.
This collaboration between Netflix and Zack Snyder comes after the release of the two parts of The Rebel Moon, Part One: A Child of Fire and Part Two: The Scargiver. Twilight of the Gods is all set to premiere on the streamer on September 19.
